BI / ETL Developer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of product delivery timelines
• Liaising with other team to complete development and support of UAT,
• User training and Business level support at implementation
• Creating End User Manual / Documentation, train end users / helpdesk staff
• Application development in ETL , Tableau
• Requirement gathering, Client interaction
• Development and functional testing of the application
• Designing Complex SQL queries for reports
• SQL Query tuning
• Designed complex transformation in ETL as per the business rules and logics.
• ETL knowledge for Data migration, Reconciliation
• Design data warehouse for reporting purpose
• Knowledge of Tableau ( designing reports from scratch )
• Good debugging skills
• Document test cases, test case results and assist in testing phase
• Should have experience in Testing and Go-Live of critical projects
• Escalate Issues to Delivery Head
• Effective interpersonal, relationship building and influencing skills
• Able to work in fast paced, results driven environment
• Experience using a project management tools like Jira,  Bugzilla, Redmine
• Must have a good understanding of Web Services,

• Strong hand in Excel, presentations & computing skills
• Leading the Proof of Concepts (POC) developments and presenting POC application to the key stakeholders of the project

Required Qualifications:

• 3-4 years proven working experience in ETL related development projects preferable on large data sets.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, attention to detail, multitasking with excellent time management skills
• Experience in handling team and planning

Technical Qualifications

• Database like Db2, Oracle , SQL
• ETL Tool  like Pentaho, IBM DATASTAGE ,Talend
• BI Tool like Tableau, Pentaho
• Operating Systems: Windows Linux/Unix
